Kinship Care

Kinship Care is the family caregiver support program for any older relative raising younger children. Thus far participants are grandmothers and grandfathers who are raising their grandchildren. If you are a grandparent raising grandchildren or other relative caregiver of children up to age 17 and wish to participate meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 3205 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208.

Services and Events

  • Kinship Caregiver Celebration.

  • Triple P (Parenting Education).

  • Foster Care and Adoptive Services.

  • Assistance with school attendance issues and concerns available for those who qualify.

  • Additional services such as respite and trainings are offered to caregivers who qualify.
