Needed Now. Foster and Adoptive Parents

Training sessions begin in January. One day a week for 10 weeks.  Questions? Call 704-336-KIDS (5437).

A child’s life is a story just beginning. You can help write a happy ending by providing a loving home. Children typically enter foster care because of abuse, neglect, or dependency. Mecklenburg County strives to ensure all children have a safe and loving place to lay their heads.

Our foster care and adoption team works hard to find temporary or permanent homes for youth that come into our care. The primary goal is to reunify them with their birth or biological family. If that is not possible, we work to identify a permanent family that will have the opportunity to care for and provide stability for the child in need.
