Mecklenburg County’s Adoption and Foster Care program strives to make sure all children have a safe and loving place to lay their heads. Our team works hard to find temporary or permanent homes for the youth that come into our care.

Once children are in our care, the number one goal is to reunify them with their birth or biological family. If that is not possible, our social workers will identify a permanent family that will have the opportunity to care for and provide stability for the child in need.
