Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program

The North Carolina Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is a summer-only program that provides vouchers to eligible older adults to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh cut herbs from certified locations.

What are eligibility requirements for the Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program?

To participate, a person must meet three requirements:

1. 60 years of age or older.

2. Live in Mecklenburg County

3. Household income of no more than 185% of the 2024 Federal Poverty Level ($2,322 or less per month for a one-person household; $3,152 or less per month for a 2-person household.)
